Contemporary Worship
We are looking for a worship leader with a strong foundation in leading teams, creating engaging worship environments, and inspiring people to encounter God’s presence. The ideal worship leader will have a growing relationship with Christ, strong musical ability (vocals and instrument), and knowledge of modern worship practices like the Nashville Number System, Planning Center, and Playback.
As part of a vibrant and diverse church entering its 25th year of ministry, this worship leader role offers the chance to impact lives in a dynamic, fast-growing community. With 28 hours a week and regular rhythms of rehearsals, services, and team collaboration, this position also has room for growth into a full-time role, depending on performance, church needs, and the worship leader’s vision for their ministry future.

QUalifications
We’re seeking a worship leader to join our multisite team with 2–4 years of experience in team leadership and creating engaging worship environments. Bilingual is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate should grasp modern CCM music theory and be comfortable singing and playing an instrument.
This role requires familiarity with Planning Center and Playback, along with a basic understanding of audio and visual equipment. As one of three staff worship leaders, you’ll need to be skilled in scheduling, building setlists, and leading rehearsals with the Music Director to ensure team readiness.
COMMITMENT
This is a part-time worship leader position requiring 28 hours per week, with a consistent schedule including Thursday evening rehearsals and Sunday morning services at 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:00 AM, with a call time of 6:00 AM. Weekly Worship Arts team meetings are held on Tuesday afternoons. The primary focus is to execute weekend worship services with excellence.
Beyond the weekly rhythm, this opportunity calls for a worship leader ready to invest in the people they lead, both musically and relationally, helping build a culture of unity and excellence. There is potential for this position to grow into a full-time role based on performance and the worship leader’s desire for expanded responsibilities.
Community
This church is entering its 25th year of ministry in the West Valley and is growing rapidly. It is marked by diversity in background, culture, and experience, committed to fostering a healthy, life-giving environment for both staff and congregation. Here, each person is valued as an individual, with family and relationships prioritized as the team pursues God’s mission together.
The team is passionate about serving the community and reaching the lost with the hope of Jesus. The Worship Arts team creates spaces for encountering God’s presence and life transformation. This worship leader role is central to that vision, allowing the worship leader to influence and serve not only at their campus but also collaboratively across both campuses with the entire Worship Arts staff.
