As we gear up for one of the most highlighted Sundays of the year, I know you’re feeling the buzz—and maybe a little bit of pressure. It’s Easter Sunday, after all! It’s a big deal, and we all want things to go smoothly, or at least close enough. Even though most of us are seasoned pros, this checklist is a great way to make sure we don’t overlook anything in our Easter plans. Most importantly, it helps us stay focused on the main goal: celebrating our salvation in Jesus and lifting Him up. Let’s dive into this guide to make your Easter Sunday bullet proof!
1. Have a Plan!
First things first, take a moment to dream! What do you envision for this Easter Sunday? Picture the service, the elements, the music, the lighting, the colors, the scripture, the atmosphere, and the impact you want to create for your congregation. Having a clear vision will set the tone for everything that follows.
2. Staff Up – Confirm Your Team
Now, let’s talk about your team. Just because they’re usually on doesn’t mean you shouldn’t double-check! Reach out and get confirmations from everyone. Knowing who’s in and who’s out will help you avoid any last-minute surprises.

Clear communication is key! The less your team has to worry about logistics, the more they can focus on what really matters—practicing and preparing their hearts for worship.
