Full-Time Worship Pastor
Carrollton, TX
QUalifications
We’re looking for a collaborative, confident worship pastor—someone who can cast vision for their local congregation while staying in sync with a broader worship team. The right person will be spiritually mature, musically gifted, and capable of building a team that leads with both skill and heart. They should be able to relate well to a congregation primarily made up of adults in their 20s – 60s—people who are spiritually hungry, family-oriented, and looking for meaningful, Christ-centered worship that speaks to both head and heart.
You should have 4-10+ years of worship pastor experience, ideally in a team-based or multi-site setting. A college degree is strongly preferred, and being open to further theological growth is a plus. This role calls for someone comfortable leading from the front and supporting behind the scenes—someone who’s as relational and organized as they are creative. A thoughtful, mature presence—both musically and pastorally—will go a long way in leading this kind of community well.
COMMITMENT
This is a full-time worship pastor, in-person role (40+ hours per week) that involves leading worship gatherings each week, coordinating with other staff members, and overseeing service programming. Thursdays with a 7pm service and Sundays with a 9:30am & 10:45am service are a key focus. Office hours typically run from Sunday through Thursday, with churchwide meetings usually held on Tuesdays—often in the late morning or early afternoon, though exact times may vary.
In addition to leading worship, this role includes recruiting and developing volunteer teams, maintaining consistent communication, and managing logistical responsibilities such as scheduling, charting, and preparing media assets. Since there is no weekend rehearsal, strong preparation and clear planning throughout the week are essential. The position also places a strong emphasis on volunteer care and development, involving regular check-ins, prayer, and participation in broader ministry planning and collaboration.
Community
The team culture here is built on grace, health, and intentional care. Staff receive personal, pastoral, and professional support, with a strong emphasis on spiritual growth and leadership development. They strive to be a community characterized by steady faith and genuine love, moving forward as God leads to share the message of Jesus throughout the greater Dallas area. Collaboration is important, but leaders are also empowered to shape ministry in ways that best fit their local context.
Worship pastors are part of a creative, spiritually-focused network of musicians and pastors. While we come together for key events and shared moments, most weekends are led by your own autonomous vision. You’ll be invited to participate in a growing culture of songwriting, engage in creative worship expression, and contribute to helping people grow into the image of Christ. This team values authenticity, imagination, and the transformative presence of God.
