QUalifications
This church has minimal needs for their future worship leader! Most Sundays, you’ll be leading worship solo, guiding congregants with worshipful, responsive hearts.
Personability and the ability to engage are key for this position. A present and future goal is to cultivate a rotation of worship volunteers.
COMMITMENT
This part-time worship leader role requires a commitment of about 5-7 hours per week. You’ll need to arrive by 9:00 AM for the 10:00 AM Sunday service, which usually lasts around 1.5 hours. Each week, you’ll have a 30-minute to 1-hour call with the pastoral staff to discuss the service vision and ensure everything aligns with their message and vision.
In addition to leading worship, you’ll be responsible for scheduling worship setlists and collaborating with the tech department. As new volunteers with interest and ability emerge, you’ll have the opportunity to cultivate their talents within the hours listed for the job.
