QUalifications
This church seeks a worship leader who is a devoted follower of Jesus who is passionate about worship. You’ll engage a diverse congregation, from newborns to seniors, fostering biblical living.
Key qualifications include being a skilled pianist or guitarist with a strong voice. Furthermore, you should effectively lead musicians, creating a welcoming environment for all ages.
COMMITMENT
This part-time worship leader position requires a commitment of 5-7 hours per week. On Sundays, you’ll arrive at 7:45 AM to lead an 8 AM rehearsal, followed by a 9 AM service that typically concludes at 10:45 AM. During this time, you’ll lead vibrant singing and coordinate praise team practice, with the goal of eventually offering prayers or liturgy.
As our worship leader, you’ll also select songs throughout the week that align with the sermon, maintaining a blend of 70% contemporary and 30% traditional music. Additionally, you’ll coordinate with the pastor and secretary, manage service PowerPoints, and mentor vocalists and musicians. Most of your work can be done remotely, providing flexibility in your schedule.

We are a vibrant, multi-generational community of about 100 attendees. Moreover, our worship services and programs for all ages foster faith and relationships deeply rooted in Scripture. Conveniently located near downtown, we will celebrate our 80th anniversary in 2025.
